————– O ————–

We wish you a peaceful new year,
close to who you love and where
enjoy the beauty of life.

The Garden can always be visited in winter, even if the regular ticketing service reopens only Saturday 26 February 2022. Until that date the Garden can only be visited by reservation or by call…once at our entrance gate between 11:00 and 16:30/17:00 (last possibility of entry 15:30) except during bad weather (rain or snow) call +39/340/0825844 and in a few minutes the staff will come to make the entrance tickets. Booking is not mandatory, but, if possible and to be sure of being able to visit the Garden, we recommend sending a whatsup to +39/335/5634918 or an email to info@valsanzibiogiardino.com at least 24 hours before indicating a name, a telephone number where you can be contacted, about the number of people visiting, the day of the visit and about the time of the visit.

Walking among secular trees, spaced and with the required standards can be a healthy choice. Appreciating the beauty of Nature and Art can become your philosophy of life, this is our wish, in line with the message of the Garden, conceived in a historical period that is very reminiscent of what we are experiencing. Life is as complicated as our labyrinth, but it reserves wonderful, unexpected and hidden moments, like every corner of the Garden. We are waiting for you, in the meantime we are organizing appointments where you can immerse yourself in the joy of Nature embellished by Art. Thank you for choosing us and for continuing to visit us.

We inform visitors that in the winter period the symbolic garden can be admired in all its beauty, the only exception being that the fountains and water games cannot be functional, in fact, in the winter period they are closed in order to protect the Bernini hydraulic system which could be damaged in the event of frosts.

VISITS FROM DECEMBER 13th TO DECEMBER 22nd 2021
AND FROM JANUARY 10th TO FEBRUARY 25th 2022

From Monday December 13th to Wednesday December 22nd 2021 and from Monday January 10th to Friday February 25th 2022 the ticket office of the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio will be closed and the Garden can be visited ONLY on call. Once at our entrance gate between 11:00 and 16:30 (last possibility of entry 15:00/15:30) except in case of bad weather (rain or snow) call +39/340/0825844 and in a few minutes the staff will come to open you to get the entrance tickets. Booking is not mandatory, but, if possible, we recommend sending a whatsup to +39/335/5634918 or an email to info@valsanzibiogiardino.com indicating a name, about the number of people visiting, the day of the visit and about the time of the visit.

VISITS FROM DECEMBER 23rd 2021 TO JAMUARY 9th 2022
EVERY DAY EXCEPT CHRISTMAS DAY

With the exception of Christmas day (25/12/21) when the Garden will be closed, From Thursday December 23rd 2021 to Sunday January 9th 2022, the ticket office of the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio will be open and the Garden will be open from 11:00 to 16:00/16:30 (last admission 15:00/15:30) except in case of bad weather (rain or snow). Booking is not mandatory, but, if possible, we recommend sending a whatsup to +39/335/5634918 or an email to info@valsanzibiogiardino.com indicating a name, about the number of people visiting, the day of the visit and about the time of the visit.

GUIDED VISITS

Furthermore, from Thursday December 23rd 2021 to Sunday January 9th 2022, in addition to the possibility of making the visit independently with the map delivered at the entrance (maps in various languages, with explanations in Italian, English, German, French and Russian, with a recommended route and some historical/allegorical information about the garden), on request it will be possible at 11:30 to take part in the ‘Standard’ guided tour. For the historical, allegorical and botanical importance of this place and for the countless messages hidden in the design of the Valsanzibio garden, guided tours are highly recommended, but not mandatory and have an extra cost of € 5,0 per adults (free for minors from 2 to 14 years old) on the entrance ticket.
If you want to participate in the guided tour, send a whatsup to +39/335/5634918 or send an email to info@valsanzibiogiardino.com indicating a name, day and time of the visit and about the number of people who would like to participate in the guided tour.

We remind you that the symbolic path, inspired by San Gregorio Barbarigo and designed by Luigi Bernini, perfectly preserved for over 350 years and such as to make this place unique in the world, it will be perfectly legible even if, due to possible night frosts, the fountains and water games will not be able to be in operation after the second half of December and until the end of February. Much of the garden is made up of ultra-secular evergreen trees, as well as the century old boxwoods labyrinth. All this gives a remarkable charm to this wonderful historical-artistic-botanical site even in the winter months.

Please, pay close attention to our regulation (click HERE to see the ‘Visit Rules and Considerations’) because this seventeenth-century garden is considered, of its kind, one of the most important artistic monuments in the world, but, like all ancient works of art, IT IS VERY DELICATE. In particular, we ask parents for special collaboration in controlling their young people by making them understand that this is not a playground, but an environment that cannot support their normal and, in other circumstances, beautiful youthful exuberance.

INFINE VI segnaliamo…

‘VALSANZIBIO’

Preview of the book
