The Kiosk at the Stables
For a refreshing break, surrounded by nature
Visits to the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio can be extended with a relaxing stop at our kiosk, adjacent to the ancient stables, where you’ll find a selection of food and drink for breakfasts, light lunches and aperitivo.
Enjoy delicious sandwiches, hot wraps, toast and fruit salads, made by the historic Tonetti Bar of Galzignano (est. 1962) using all fresh and natural produce. Coffee is also available, in collaboration with Diemme Caffè (est. 1927), a local (from Padua) and renowned coffee company.
Available also you’ll find an array of traditional soft drinks and organic juices from Bevande Futuriste Original Bio (est. 1959) including chinotto, cedrata, carbonated pomegranate, and blood orange.
Alcoholic drinks are available from Monterosso with craft beers, inspired by the names of the local Euganean Hills, as well as wines from the surrounding area including the fresh and sparkling Serprino (with two options available – one from the Colli del Poeta winery
or an organic and vegan-friendly option from the Terre Preziose winery).
Aperitivo is offered via a selection of local specialities including Luxardo spritz, Bellini Canella (the aperitif of Venice) and the Brodo di Giuggiole (jujube broth) from the Scarpon company. We also offer the Elisir del Poeta, a digestivo made from olive leaves, typical of the area.
Finally you’ll find in the summer months a selection of homemade gelato and ice lollies.
If you wish to have a picnic in the beautiful botanical area of the garden, you can pre-order your food and drinks at the kiosk.
(preferably 24 hours before your arrival, but also on the day itself).
You can also book tables and a reserved area for your special moments to remember, such as bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, wedding anniversaries and more. Click here to get in touch.
The kiosk is open from 10am to 7pm on weekends and from from 11am until 6pm on weeks (excluding Tuesdays).
