From Monday 11th to Friday 22nd of December 2023 and from Monday 8th of January to Friday 23th of February 2024 the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio can be visited only by reservation or by ‘calling’ (+39/340/0825844) from 11:00 to sunset, 16:30 in the month of December and January, 17:15/30 in the month of February (we suggest to arrive no later than 15:00/15:30).

€ 6,50 – minors with their parents, up to 14 years of age
Extra labyrinth path ticket = € 4,00 per adult
(free for minors, but accompanied – at least one adult for every 3 minors)

Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio

The reservation is mandatory both to verify in advance if the garden will be actually open to visit as well as to allow our personal to get organized (info@valsanzibiogiardino.it o +39/340/0825844). In any case, once You have arrived at the ticket entrance during the visiting times (see below), call the +39/340/0825844 and the personal in a few minutes will come to open the gates.

The allegorical path, inspired by Saint Gregorio Barbarigo and designed by Luigi Bernini, perfectly preserved after more than 350 years and such to make this place unique in the world, will be perfectly readable even if, due to possible night freezing, the fountains will not be open. Most of the Garden is made by century old evergreen trees, as well as the century old boxwoods labyrinth. All of these, also in the winter months, give to this incredible historic-artistic-botanic site a great charm.

NOTE: due to the extraordinary works of the PNRR (“PROJECT FOR THE RECOVERY AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE HISTORICAL MONUMENTAL GARDEN OF VALSANZIBIO – VILLA BARBARIGO”) it is possible that on some weekdays of December 2023, January and/or February 2024, the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio must remain closed to visits. Therefore, in this period, once you have decided on the date to visit us, we recommend calling or sending a whatsapp to +39/340/0825844 or send an email to info@valsanzibiogiardino.com to find out in real time if it will be possible to carry out the visit on the chosen day.

PLEASE, pay close attention to our regulations (see under ‘SOME IMPORTANT RULES OF THE GARDEN’) because this seventeenth-century garden is considered, of its kind, one of the most important artistic monuments in the world, but, like all works of ancient art, IT’S VERY DELICATE. In particular, we ask parents for special collaboration in controlling their young people by making them understand that this is not a playground, but an environment that cannot support their normal and, in other circumstances, beautiful youthful exuberance…PLEASE IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to throw stones or rocks in the Fisheries/water areas of the garden, pay close attention to your children/teenagers in compliance with the rules…thanks for your kind cooperation.
